(IMPORTANT: If you have a previous version of Movi, please un-install it completely. Old setting will remain if the old version remains. )

Signing in

  1. Enter your Username and Password. Call if you are unable to log in.
  2. Check Remember my Username
  3. Check Remember my Password
  4. Click “Sign In”

Adjusting the Audio and Video

  1. Upon the first login, click Devices, then select your web camera’s microphone for audio input. Click OK.

Placing Calls

  1. Conference – enter your conference ID and click return
    1. Example would be 63400 for the test conference.
  2. Classmates – enter an asterisk and hit return, then select your classmate
  3. Students should call to validate their Movi installs.  We will verify they are able to connect to the bridge and have good video/audio.  UTN will also verify the bandwidth the student is connecting at.

  1. A toolbar with these buttons will appear when you move the mouse pointer over the video window.

Presentation Sharing

  1. Click the Presentation button on the video window pop-up toolbar brings up a list of your open application windows. Select any of them to start sharing. To stop, click the same button again, then click Stop sharing presentation.

Q. What is Movi?

A. Movi is an application that works with your PC or Mac to provide video communication from wherever you need to connect — at work, school, hotel, coffee shop or home office.

Q.  Will Movi cost me anything?

A.  Movi will cost you absolutely nothing.  The cost for the Movi client licenses is being covered by the Utah Telehealth Network.

Q. Can I call another person using Movi?

A. Yes you can dial someone by entering their .   A person can call you using your .

Q. How can I do a multipoint call with Movi?

A. You can only perform point to point calls. Multipoint is available to you only if you make arrangements with Utah Telehealth to create a conference on the video bridge.  Utah Telehealth will then issue you and your other partipants an ID number to call.

Q. My computer does not have a built in camera, what type of camera should I use?

A. All USB cameras work with Movi. The Logitech 9000 and Logitech QuickCam Pro provide a quality experience, broadcasting up to 720p, ~15fps, 4:3 formats.
